Overview

Former video director Michael Bay had his first big hit with this action comedy, which also returned producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson to the big-budget, high-violence movies that they successfully churned out in the Eighties. Mike Lowrey Will Smith and Marcus Burnett Martin Lawrence are two Miami cops who watch as $100 million in heroin, from the biggest drug bust of their careers, is stolen out of the basement of police headquarters. This puts them hot on the trail of French drug lord Fouchet Tcheky Karyo, who leaves a trail of bodies in his wake and only one witness, Julie Mott Tea Leoni, who quickly teams up with our heroes. Comic hijinks ensue when plot complications force Mike to impersonate the married Marcus, to the point of moving in with his wife and children, while Marcus takes over Mike's bachelor pad and lifestyle. Car chases, snappy one-liners, and nonstop pacing fuel this umpteenth variation on the cop "buddy" formula.

    Bad Boys II

Bad Boys 2, directed by Jerry Bruckheimer, is an action packed movie filled with a lot of excitement and surprises. The story of Bad Boys 2 is very interesting and fulfilling for any action loving fan. The story is about when two cops named Mike Lowery (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) take on the case of their lives, when they find out that there is going to be a big ecstasy dealing in Miami, Florida. At the same time they have to deal with a huge war that is going over drugs that was instigated by a huge drug lord. I really liked this movie. I liked it because of the excellent screen direction by Jerry Bruckheimer. Jerry Bruckheimer has directed many movies that included Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and National Treasure 3.I think that he did a great job of depicting the way that all of the scenes were going to be played out and how he directed them for the movie to be the way it was. I personally think that any movie that Jerry Bruckheimer is a master piece, so it is natural that my opinion is for you to buy this movie. . I did not like the fact that some of the actors swore so much and how they were so consistent with their swearing. Although I did not like the swearing in the movie, I understand that it was necessary to put in the movie and help portray the same situation as it would be in the real world. . There were certain deleted scenes that were correctly taken out of the movie because they did not make sense but some of the deleted scenes they removed should have been left in to make the story line better in the movie. Not only do you get to see all of the great deleted scenes from the movie but you also get to see many other features of the movie. If you were to go and buy the movie in the form of the DVD version you would be less satisfied by the outcome of the final product. Not only would I choose to get the blue-ray version I would also choose to buy it as soon as I can. This movie is not a movie to pass up. It is a great movie and you should seriously give it a shot. I give it big two thumbs up.
