    Relaxing exercise

I enjoy Suzanne Deason's balance ball workouts very much. This beginners workout is great to use between my more aerobic workouts. I definitely have gained strength and balance. I have found these exercises great for my back.

    Very Satisfactory

I have had my exercise ball for years now and used it mainly for my lower back and ab routines instructed by my chiropractor. I was getting a little bothered because I seemed to kick it out of the way more than I used it. I knew that you could do a lot more with the ball- but the print illustration guides were not effective. The live demonstration from this DVD is much more beneficial to ensuring proper form and breathing. Yeah, it¿s slow¿but there are other DVD¿s that I am going to purchase in the series for a more active exercise. I am sure I will use this beginner¿s DVD for many times of tension release and relaxation.

    Great Intro - I'm hooked

The first time I did this routine I thought it was slow and not very difficult. By the 3rd or 4th time I realized that if you breathe correctly and focus on proper execution of the poses (the instructions are excellent in this regard)it is much tougher. I like the fact that there is not a lot of chatter distracting from your focus. This chatter often causes me to lose focus, perform the excercises incorrectly and ultimately stop due to pain. This video prompted me to read more about the Balance Ball in general and I discovered that it focuses on the small muscles along your spine. Keeping these muscles strong helps to get the bigger ones in shape easier. I also read that the 3 top rated athletes in the country say the balance ball is a big part of their routine. I have been a runner for about 20 years now and still like it, but I will be replacing running more often with balance ball and yoga. I look forward to getting the upper body, ab, and lower body workout tapes.

    balance ball blues

I was very excited to find this DVD. I had a balance ball from a previous back injury and wanted to do more exercises. It says the DVD is for all fintenss levels but I think best for the VERY beginner. After two weeks I want MORE.

Got me started; now I'm bored

I wanted something more like jazzercise, but got something more like yoga. This video came with my Fitness Ball, so it was a great way to get started. Now I just need to find a video that will keep me awake...
