This movie takes children on an unbelievable adventure to unchartered territory, with an ubelievable toymaker. The Toymaker's name is 'Professor Erasmus U. Tinkerpot,' or something of that nature. In reality, the toymaker creeped me out and reminded me of a criminal dealing in toys to entice children, and as an Michael Jackson-esque character that just refused to grow up. Tasha is the main character of this tale, having been given a special necklace after her mother has twins. The whole video is enough to make adults gag on the simplicity, but children will find this very magical. The songs are good, though, and the singing is great. In the end, the story overshadows the theme on sharing and children will probably not gain anything from it except an appreciation for imaginary machines and the wild sea. The special effects (little as there are) are impressive. Your child will enjoy the whole 48 minutes of it, definitely. Just don't watch the toymaker or you'll be cringing. But his inventions, I must say, are impressive. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
