Overview

In the powerful final season of Beauty and the Beast 1989-90, Catherine, pregnant with Vincent's child, falls victim to a murderous drug lord who steals her baby after she gives birth. Drawing strength from the everlasting love he and Catherine share, Vincent relentlessly pursues her killer, determined to bring him to justice and to rescue their child. A mold-breaking crime-drama with fantasy underpinnings, BatB features Ron Perlman as Vincent, a mythic, noble man-beast who develops a strong, mystical bond with Catherine Linda Hamilton, a savvy assistant D.A. in New York. It was Hamilton's real-life pregnancy that led to the storyline that allowed her to exit the series, a move that alienated many fans and led to the show's premature demise.

    Good but sad

I was and still am a Huge fan of this show! I watched faithfully, as I learned that love has no boundaries and true love is what is on the inside. This was proven by Catherine and Vincent's love.I love that Vincent found his and Catherine's son,but I was very sad that Catherine died. The Show went down hill quickly since you can not replace Linda Hamilton .The chemistry she and Ron Perlman had was amazing and if they were not friends these two actors were indeed amazing to portray these two lovers parted by jealousy and hatred. there will never be another show like it!

This is not worth the money it is only a half season and the shows have a lot of slow moving "filler" scenes. Beauty and the Beast could not survive without beauty. A complete waste of money.

I have been waiting for the final season to come out. Even though it should never have ended the show was not the sam without Linda Hamilton. I hope to see the last few shows that did air afterwards. The ones without Linda Hamilton even though it was still not the same. Ron Perlman did a wonderful job.

    Saddest Season Ever!

After watching this last and final season of BatB, I now wish that there was some way that it could have gone on much longer. It wasn't the same w.out Linda Hamilton, but Ron Perlman was still brilliant as Vincent. Love it, but wish they could've stayed together forever!!
