Pioneering banjo player Béla Fleck brings his unique fusion of bluegrass, jazz, and pop to this, his first DVD release. The multiple Grammy winner has forged a career out of breaking down musical barriers, collaborating with artists as diverse as Dave Matthews and Shawn Colvin. Live at the Quick grew out of the band's "Outbound" project, which involved collaborations with Sandip Burman, Andy Narell, Paul Hanson, and Paul McCandless -- all of whom reunited for this live concert recording. Tracks are as follows:

  • Lover’s Leap
  • Zona Mona
  • Ovumbo Summit 7: Scratch & Sniff

    OUSTANDING, LEFT ME IN AWE!!!

I truly believe that this video should be in the collection of all Jazz aficienados as well as anyone with an appreciation of music. The collaboration and abstract culmination of talent makes this video and CD a must buy. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones have made a permanent fan out of me. My son now "Borrows" the CD and I have to track it down to get it back.
