    Suitable for all ages

My 3 year old son picked this out after seeing it on a display. We have all fallen in love with the Blue Man Group since. It has sparked the 3 year old's desire to play drums, my husbands desire to build a 'tubulum' and I am glad to listen to music and not children's tv... This is a must have.

Blue Man Group fuses music, theater and commentary

There are equal parts electronica, rock and social commentary in the Blue Man Group¿s tour chronicled on the trio¿s first-ever commercial DVD release. Long-time watchers of the rock world will immediately pick up on the theme of the group¿s impressive concert. While providing an enjoyable and high-powered visual and sonic feast for the younger set, the thesis of the show is a satirical look on what a rock/pop act must do to please the masses. In an age where pop idols score Grammy Award wins over George Harrison, and Bruce Cockburn and Neil Young are entirely ignored by the Recording Academy, it¿s not like the Blue Man Group had to travel far to mine the source material for ¿Complex Rock Tour Live.¿ These three otherworldly travelers find a manual how to stage a rock concert, and then follow through with a show that delivers on that directory¿s promise. So while the Blue Man Group makes fun of much of the formula of rock, at least it¿s fun and a joy to see and hear. In addition to the live performance filmed in Grand Prairie, Texas in August 2003, there are concept videos and other bonus materials galore to please fans of the Blue Man Group. While fans of Dave Matthews will want to check out the video of ¿The Current,¿ the most stirring moments on the DVD are the live and concept videos for ¿Exhibit 13,¿ the trio¿s fitting video tribute to the events of September 11, 2001.
