Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble - Donald Liebenson
How fun to once again spend some quality time with Steve, the original Blue's Clues host, who appears in four new-to-DVD episodes of the award-winning interactive preschool series. In "Blue's School" a fun game of Blue's Clues reveals where Blue's class is headed for a field trip. In "Something to Do Blue," not even Blue knows what the answer to Blue's Clues will be as she uses her imagination to invent something new from three familiar objects. Next, it's "Rhyme Time" as Steve and company engage in some poetic play. "Puppets" will really sock it to you as Steve and his sock puppet try to determine what story Blue wants to tell her puppets. Playing Blue's Clues is half the fun of these episodes, which are brimming with activities that call on a variety of skills, from mixing colors to expressing emotions. "Blue's School" is a reassuring preparedness episode that presents proper classroom etiquette, such as raising one's hand to ask or answer a question. This Blue's quartet illustrates why the celebrated series is in a class by itself.
