Boiling Point

Overview

The boiling point is mighty low in this tepid action programmer. Wesley Snipes plays Jimmy Mercer, a Treasury agent whose sting operation goes bad. SOME GOOD MOMENTS

This action quckie has a film noir look and a few good moments. Snipes, Hopper preparing to square off to a final conflict is a little too predictible, but slick camera work and a host of well played supporting parts keep things interesting enough. From a book, ''Money Men'' by Gerald Pettevich, whose first novel became the modern day classic TO LIVE AND DIE IN LA. Pettevich has a cameo has a hotel security guard.
