Television at its mind-blowing best!! Goodbye Dr. Frasier Crane, Thomas Kane has no equal! Kesely Grammer has never played a more memorable characher and I say this knowing how great he handled the character of Dr. Frasier Crane. His portrayal of a fictional mayor of Chicago, Thomas Kane, who has been diagnosed with a form of dementia and is grappling to stay in power at all costs is absolutely riviting. The show hits the groud running and never stops. If you love shows about politics you cannot miss this one. The polictical manuvering, scandals, and betrayal captured in the story lines provide a scary mirror of what American politics seems to have become. Each member of the supporting cast gives an equally enthralling performance and the writing is absolutely superb. I cannot believe Starz has cancelled this series. Hello HBO or Showtime you need to pick this one up!
