    This is a classic

This movie shows the big part that lowriders play in the way of life, and the oldies music to is real important to becuase it adds realisms to the movie. A pig part of the movie the characters like ''Big Happy'' add to the movie and are good actors for the movie.

    .CLASSIC...never be another like it

This film is a classic. From the riveting Chicano-JamesDeanish performance of newcomer De La Paz, to the sumptuous cinematography of Nestor Almendros protoge DP John Bailey. Many urban films have since tried and failed miserably to copy this original drama set in East L.A. ''Must see'' for any serious student of the gangster genre.
