This provides the best yoga workouts I've seen. I've tried other videos that were either too basic or moved too fast through poses(MTV). The three workouts on this DVD are challenging; after I finish one I feel like I've really worked. Although they are packaged as a progression from 1 to 2 to 3, you really can use them as different workouts on different days. There is probably not enough instruction on these for beginners, but if you've had classes and are looking for something to do at home, these are for you.

Excellent for intermediate and those trying to stretch their workout. There are three workouts, the first slow and easy, second faster and more challenging and third fastest and most challenging.

Bryan Kest delivers great sequences. His videos are a pretty intense workout. I'd recommend them to anyone who's looking for that strenuous, flowing style of yoga.

Of all the videos that I have purchased this is the one that I use everyday, and it does not get boring and still challenges me. He talks you through each pose and helps you move yourself to the next level of where you are at that moment. His constant motivation keeps you in mind that you are not in competition with yourself and anyone else for that matter. I will be using this video from quite some time to come.

I love the way he tells you over and over that you should go at your own pace, that every body is different and the most important thing is your breath. You don't have to bend like gumby, you do what you can. Wonderful.

I have been working out to this DVD for the past 4 months and it has truly changed so much about myself. I find myself throughout the day hearing his calm voice saying something like "remain calm in uncomfortable situations, hang out with where youre at" What he says in that video go way beyond the present moment of the pose they stay with you for the remainder of the day.

Excellent direction from the instructor, classic power yoga moves focusing on breathing, strength, stability. Gets your heart rate up, your body working, and calms your mind. Wrist, upper body strength is needed because of the many 'push up position, lower slowly, up dog, down dog.' It's a challange!

I'm just starting to add Yoga to my running and weighlifting routine. This is a tough workout. There are a few poses that I have a lot of trouble with, but if you want to challenge your strength, balance, and flexibility, this is a good DVD. I hope to be able to do all of these poses comfortably one day. BTW, the mid-90s gear is entertaining on its own. I did not know that Jean Shorts were good workout attire.

I have been exercising/meditating with Bryan Kests' power yoga "Sweat" for 12 years, and I'm pleasantly amazed that to this day I am still learning things about myself, my body and life while working through these moves. I am so grateful that this is the first yoga tape I bought. It has given me so much. If I ever meet Bryan, I am going to thank him for walking in his destiny as a yoga guru.

I normally weight train in the gym and wanted something to stretch and elongate my body. This program does not only that but, to my surpise, has strengthened my body in ways weight training never could. It has completely changed the way I workout. I wish I had found it sooner.

This is by far the best power yoga videos out. Nothing compares to Bryan Kest's insight and instruction. If you want a good routine to practice, this is the answer. There is a lot of cheap, nonsense videos out there...this one is the real thing and will change your life. It did me!! It is not easy, but nothing worth it is.

I have used these tapes for years! He is the best, and the tapes will give anyone a great workout. Yes, I was intimidated at first - if you are new to power yoga - watch the tape first (closely) and then do it. It's quite ok to do what you can and you'll be amazed how quickly you'll be doing more and more. I have searched for years and still can't find anything comparable. You'll get a complete body workout whether advanced or beginner.

Anyone who wants to get in shape and feel lke you got a massage without paying for it should try this. I have a hard time sitting Indian style I'm so inflexible, but this video was awesome. You just gotta do it instead of thinking you can't, and you'll be shocked that you came to the end without giving up :) Plus honestly, it feels like a massage afterwards. Bryan is kind of funny to listen to, but I found it very useful and do-able.

Unless you can bend like gumby and have a lot of upper body strength, you are not going to make it through this workout.

Bryan Kest's Power Yoga is simply incredible . As a beginner, I wasn't sure if I would be able to follow the techniques , which seemed quite advanced. However, Bryan emphasized the importance of making the tape '' your own '' , doing it at your own speed. It not only helped me increase my daily energy levels , but also had a tremendous calming effect on my life.I never excercised before, but now I'm utterly addicted .Kest did a great job.

If you ever thought that yoga is not a true workout, try this! Not only is it a challenging workout, it is a mind-body experience. It gives an complete sense of harmony and accomplishment when you are done. I love it and so do friends to whom I've recommended it. It's not for a total beginner but if you just watch it once before actually doing it, as is usually recommended with most exercise videos, you won't regret it. It's like going to a live (and excellent) yoga class because there are no irritating commentaries that break the flow of the class! You will definitely appreciate this as you get more experience because you can stay in the ''zone''. As always, remember to pay attention to detail and your (body)form!
