This exceptionally well-crafted two-part Season II finale is Buffy the Vampire Slayer at its finest. The music, themes, dialogue and acting are flawless. This particular episode exemplifies why Buffy the Vampire Slayer is not your average WB teenager show. Using the the ''things that go bump in the night'' as a metaphor for growing up and life's sometimes agonizing choices, this show truly transcends ordinary television. All this from a former nay-sayer who pooh-poohed the idea of a college-educated woman (myself) watching a show about a vampire slayer. Pure perfection. Was this review helpful?
