Barnes & Noble - Patricia Kim O'Cone
Season 3
High school can be hell -- but for Buffy Summers and her friends, it's a Hell Mouth. In its third season, Joss Whedon's supernatural soap opera took a walk on the dark side. As her senior year unfolds, Buffy Sarah Michelle Gellar attempts to pass biology, save the town from evil, and score the keys to the car. For the barely legal slayer, this year is full of challenges, hard choices, and shocking surprises: her vampire soul mate, Angel David Boreanaz, returns from the netherworld; the impulsive new slayer, Faith Eliza Dushku, proves to be more than a handful; and Mayor Wilkins Harry Groener has a plan that's more diabolical than political. Season 3 experienced programming troubles during its 1999 run: After the tragic events at Columbine High School, the episodes "Earshot" and "Graduation Day Part 2" were held back from broadcast because of their coincidentally controversial content. Fans carped as the latter episode, the cliff-hanging season finale, was postponed for several months. Nonetheless, viewers were treated to one of the best-yet seasons of this ever-maturing show.

Buffy series at it strongest. Buffy's crew was at it strongest

    Buffy series at it strongest.

Buffy's crew was at it strongest this season. Buffy, Angel, Willow, Oz, Zander, Cordelia, and Giles. The crew is never stronger than this season.

This season shows how strong Angel and Buffy are.
Angel returns from Hell. He'd endured torture beyond imagination, and survived it. His strength allowed him to regain his humanity.

Faith helps demonstrate how strong Buffy is. The Slayer power was more than Faith could handle. She became a monster - beyond any vamp and allied with demons.. Buffy had to stop another slayer and .in doing so. showed the fans that her true strength comes from being Buffy - not from being the Slayer.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Complete Third Season

this was my second fave season of buffy after season 2. Buffy has now run away from Sunnydale, leaving all her friends and her mom behind after what happened with Angel and is now living in L.A. (where she used to live before she moved to Sunnydale). Even though Angel is gone, Buffy is still haunted of her dreams of Angel and is having toruble forgetting him even though she was forced to kill the love of her life and is still painful about it. later in the episodes, a new slayer name Faith arrives, along with Mr. Trick and the Mayor. Yes, in later episodes Wesley (from Angel) makes his first appearence as Buffy's new Watcher after Giles has been fired from the Council. alot of new changes occur including the return of Angel. great great season to watch.

    The best EVER

This season of buffy is to me the best. It is funny, action packed, scary, and is emotional. It isn't just a show about a girl fighting bad things, it's about growing up and relationships also. I LOVE BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER!!!!!!

    Buffys better then most

Buffy the vampire slayer season three is the best set of DVDs you can buy. If you thought season two was good, season three is great. There are great features and the audio commentary is excellent.

    Killer

I know this is not out on DVD yet, but I have seen all of the episodes. The Mayor really takes the villain aspect of Buffy to a new level.

    Buffy Season 3 is GREAT!

Buffy Season 3 is what I think is the best season of Buffy. Season 2 was great with the Angel/Buffy, but season 3 rekindles that and introduces a whole new aspect to Buffy: CHANGE! Buffy is preparing for and having to deal with major changes. New Watcher, new Slayer, new Evil, and the coming changes of new School, and a new life without Angel. It really tosses things up. Plus I think the episode with Anya is great!

    WOW! Another great job!

It amazes me how well done these sets are - Season 3 is absolutely one of the best Seasons of Buffy and it remains to be well done and at a great price.

    Best Season on DVD!

I believe that Season Three Buffy the Vampire Slayer on DVD is the best season. It gives all of the eps in perfect quality and it has really great featurettes. Eliza Dushku and Sarah Michelle Gellar are great actresses and David Boreanaz does a wonderful job. A definite must have and cannot be passed up! Buy it now! Must be added to any Buffy the Vampire Slayer collection.

    I wish it where here

I really can't wait for this to come out. I love Buffy and Angel. They are the ultimate pair. Their love for each other will never die. I don't care that they are on seperate shows. I loved Season 1 and Season 2. But Season 3 is the best!!!
