Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Overview

Thanks in large part to the charisma of star Sarah Michelle Gellar, Buffy the Vampire Slayer went from being a little-seen horror movie spin-off to a cult phenomenon. This collection features the episodes Bad Girls, Consequences, Enemies, Earshot, and Graduation Day, volumes 1 and 2.

Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble - Tony Nigro
Having evolved from a vastly forgettable feature film into a unique and engaging teen soap opera, Buffy the Vampire Slayer hit new heights of dramatic complexity in its third season -- including a high school graduation that almost never was both in story and broadcast terms. This collection culls six of the season's best episodes, including two inadvertently controversial episodes held back from the air after the tragic Columbine High School massacre of 1999. "Bad Girls," "Consequences," and "Enemies" chronicle the mounting antagonism between slayers supreme Buffy Sarah Michelle Gellar and Faith Eliza Dushku, as Faith's pride leads her on a downward spiral into evil, while startling revelations about Sunnydale's mayor point to a major event. These three installments add plenty to the Buffy mythology and feature some primo fight scenes, but it's the following three titles that really take off. "Earshot," the tense story of a sadly disturbed student, was one of the episodes pulled from the TV lineup. The two-part season finale, "Graduation Day," returns to the show's sensational mythology, as the maniacal mayor attempts an apocalyptic rise to power at the expense of Sunnydale High -- and all mankind. In the finale's cliffhanger ending -- the second of the delayed shows -- the students courageously defend their school from catastrophe. Series creator Joss Whedon found his hands full, both creatively and ethically, during Buffy's third season, but like a good slayer, the show survived, remaining the smartest teen-based series on television.

What do i think of Buffy the vampire slayer gift set?

I think it is very good but the only bad thing about it is people who live in the uk or a different country don't really get the chance to buy it because it is too much money which is bad.
