    I Also Recommend:

    Classic Tom Hanks!

I bought this double feature pretty recently. I of course watched both of these movies after ward. I remember having seen these movies for the first time when I was a kid, and a few other scattered times after that, but truth be told, I think it had actually been at least since I was in high school since I had watched The Money Pit, but as soon as I did, it all came back to me. The toil and trouble they go through trying to fix up the house is hilarious, and all of the workers that finally start getting to work on it are pretty funny too. Definitely a good time classic. The Burbs I had actually seen only less than a year ago or something, because I rented it or something, but it too is still a very classic Tom Hanks piece. I love some of Hanks older movies about as much as I like any of his newer movies, maybe even a little more. These were titles I grew up on after all. As a matter of fact, my favorite movie of all time is a Tom Hanks movie...Forrest Gump. That movie never grows old. I remember having seen that for the first time in the theatre with my dad, brother, and grandpa. Classic guys night out, that was...and we all totally loved that movie. I remember having seen it about another 20-30 more times at least after that while growing up, and it still didn't get old. Anyway, this review isn't about Forrest Gump though, so enough about that. Anyway, though these 2 aren't my absolute favorites with Tom Hanks, they still rate pretty high, and I would recommend that any of you have not seen these, you totally should...especially The Burbs, but I do recommend both. Ya can't beat classics!

    Tom Hank classics!

The Burbs should be watched by anyone who lives in the suburbs. It is classical study of how we view our neighbors, suitable for all ages. The characters are outlandish, yet believable. The plot is full of humor and the plot develops well. The actors relate very well with each other through the movie. I will never look at my neighbors the same again, especially when they digging in their back yard.

The Money Pit is an early film of Tom Hanks. He and Shelly Long look like a couple of kids, but their acting in this film is top rate. Any home owner can relate to this movie, young people thinking of buying a home for the first time should avoid it. The humor never stops. All family members will enjoy this film.
