Bustin' Loose

( 2 )

Overview

Oz Scott directs Richard Pryor in the comedy Bustin' Loose, which comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. The closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. Spanish and French subtitles are available. Though the film lacks any extra features as well as a widescreen transfer, the inexpensive list price may make this disc worth a look for any Pryor fan. This is not a good disc, but the price might make it acceptable.

    Outstanding

Richard is one of the funniest comedians that ever lived. This is a great movie and he will be missed.

    Versitility

It was this film that gave me an expanded opinion of Mr. Pryor. Having seen him as a comedian for so long, I was completely surprised to see him not only take on a serious role, but he seemed to do it so effortlessly. This movie is a tear-jerker, so cryers beware. :-) Its a definite classic and a must have for the Richard Pryor fan... Oh, and did I say, you can watch it with your kids. I'm still searching for the musical scores to this video. Any ideas, please let me know.
