This video is good for both beginner to intermediate yoga practitioners. When completing poses smoothly and with the pace Patricia sets, you really feel yourself getting stronger and burning calories. I would recommend this to a friend. The 50 minutes work out flies by.
My expectations were low for this yoga DVD, but it has become a great addition to my workout routine. I usually don't like slow meditative yoga with lots of breathing. This Cardio Burn Yoga is so much more than that. It combines the continuous movement or "flow" from one posture to another, with muscle toning strengthening positions. This workout is not for beginners, but if you are at an intermediate level in cardio and strength conditioning and new to yoga you'll catch on. The instruction is clear and easy to follow. Be prepared to sweat and feel the burn that packs a lot of power in a fifty minute routine!
Patricia Moreno really works you out well. What she explains is exactly what she does. Really fun DVD. =]
It's a challenge but not over the top. You feel the results without the pain and exhaustion that some workouts leave you with. Plus! It's easy on the joints.
