Cajun quarter-horse trainer Lloyd Bourdelle Walter Matthau struggles to eke out a decent living for himself and his three sons Buddy, Randy and Casey Andrew A.     Our family was in this movie!!!

    Our entire family got to be extra's thru-out this movie which was filmed in Ruidoso, NM at the ALL AMERICAN FUTURITY...it was such a fun experience...and we got to spend the day at the track in the Turf Club with Walter Matthau...he gave us an autograph...a really nice man...great film!

    I actually saw this!

    Based on the the life of trainer Lloyd Romero and his sons including jockey Randy Romero. Good down home racing movie about a little guy aiming for the All American Futurity. Good music too!
