There are quotes from this movie that will never be forgotten. Pesci, Sharon Stone, and De Niro are amazing in Casino. This is right up there with Goodfellas, and is easily in my top 10 favorite movies of all time.

This is certainly not Martin Scorsese's best film, but that just says what a great director he is. With this film, the two who brought us "GoodFellas" reunite for a film that is not quite as powerful, but just as skillfully made. This film made few waves when it came out in 1995 as the result of too many people expecting another "GoodFellas" and it received only two Oscar nominations. I am extremely happy for this DVD and hope that many people buy it to extend this film beyond a cult following.

This is a good film from Scorese. It's similar to Goodfellas in that it's a mob movie. And you got DeNiro, Pesci, and some other guy from Goodfellas. But as one other reviewer said before there's nothing wrong with that. Scorese is one of our best directors. The way he uses the camera and the themes that are used in his movies are amazing. This man's a genius. But if you wanna see Scorese at his best rent Raging Bull and Taxi Driver

This is familiar ground for the genius of Scorsese and what's wrong with that? When you stick to what you know, there are few dangers. Marty knows. And the usual gang's all here, DeNiro, Pesci, even Marty's mother in a cameo. And there's the trademark formula: rise, fall, redemption. Marty gets the best work of her career from Sharon Stone with an unequaled lead performance. This is a winner.
