Just like Ang Lees' Woodstock, this film was a Major disappointment.I went to CBGBs' in the 70's and was lucky enough to see most of the bands depicted in this movie. This movie should have been titled The Hilly Krystal Story, because it was almost entirely about him ,and his dog "Pooping" all over the club.(the dog, not Hilly.)I wanted to see more of the bands depicted, but just got glimpses. The 'Cartoon like",Interjections were like watching the Batman series from the 60's.I had such high hopes for this movie, and it was a "Flop" !
