As always this was very good. A little different with two new girls, but great anyway. I will watch this DVD ,again and again. Extra features were interesting and fun.It gives you a new perspective.

Having just watched the latest DVD on PBS I assure you, this even surpasses their previous DVD's. This is a wonderful concert.
As a group you can see how they've grown over the past 4+ years. Though they've become more 'professional' they haven't lost their foundation. With the addition of Alex and Lynn with Chloe and Lisa, they haven't missed a step.
David continues to do his outstanding job of creating the thrust of the performance. I've already ordered this DVD and can easily suggest you do the same.

These women are not only beautiful but some of the most talented women I've ever heard. Their music is absolutely lovely, as well as they are. I watch this over and over again it never gets old

I viewed this presentation on TV and had to have the DVD. These women are superb in their presentations. So, I went to B & N and purchased the Video. B * N's price was fantastic. The DVD aslo incudes excellent bonus materials. It is a must see/buy item in my opinion!
Also, I purchased the CD version for everyday listening in the car and on the PC. Very relaxing and soothfull.

If you have never actually listened to this very talented group, you might be surprised to discover that they are really much more than you think! This dvd is a marvelous combination of music and song performed at an interesting venue. The women all have spectacular voices. Each woman's solo is perfection, but when they harmonize, the result is amazing. They perform traditional Irish songs, but they also do some current songs you would recognize. I believe the very star of the show is the magical Mairead, the Irish fiddle player. This beautiful little sprite plays the violin with such joy, such wild abandon. You cannot help but love her as she skips, spins, and cavorts around the stage, yet she is so extremely talented that she never misses a note. The percussionists also add so much to the overall effect. The two gentlemen playing a variety of percussion instruments provide an interesting counterpoint to the sweet and gentle voices of the women. This show was even more incredible live, but the dvd is a beloved addition to my collection. Give Celitc Woman a chance, you won't be disappointed.

I watch it all the time, and the girls all have the voices of angels!! There are some adorable Behind the scenes clips, and you get to see how the whole show was put together.
Each one of the girls is so different, and they have such a different style of music, which makes this DVD so much fun to watch!! There are a few songs that made me cry they were so beautiful. Right from the beginning, these girls instantly have your attention, and they keep you entertained to the very end. I am have been so lucky to have seen them live in concert last month, and what a joy!! This DVD truly captures the amazingness of these 5 amazing women!! It is a must have for any Celtic Woman fan!

Once again, the music is great. The choreographer, however, has the gals looking quite stiff and it gets more and more noticeable as the show goes on. Over all, another great show.

You must have this DVD. The music is fantastic, the sets are spectaular, and the singers are fabulous. I first saw this show on PBS and I had to have it. You don't have to be Irish to enjoy this music, the ladies are beautiful and so is the music.

It only gets better, this group keeps surprising me. Everytime there is a new performance, I'm in awe. If I ever want to be up-lifted, just put a DVD of the Celtic Women. I have and recommend all of there performances, CD's and DVD's, they truly have a gift.

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged. It looks as if this new hit from Celtic Woman has debuted at the top of the World BillBoard charts and appears destined to repeat another of their record-breaking runs there as experienced by their earlier releases. If you were among the millions of Americans who saw the broadcasts of Songs From The Heart from among the thousands of broadcasts from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (PBS) stations across the nation, you should know this is the music from that show. Celtic Woman is presently at the start of a nationwide tour in which performance of these numbers may be seen live.
If you liked their prior releases, such as A New Journey filmed in 2006 at Slane Castle in Ireland, you will certainly love this! Filmed at the castle at Powerscourt, County Wicklow, Ireland in July 2009, it has all the elements we have come to the love of the group, created under the direction of the group's creator and musical director, David Downes, whom many regard as a genius from the body of his work thus far and his many fantastic accomplishments, which appear far beyond what one would normally expect of one of his years.
If you care at all about this group and their music, you will certainly want to get it and having done so, will rue that you waited so long to do so!

I first saw this on PBS in December and recorded it on my DVR to watch it again and again until I had the chance to buy it. And again I have watched it over and over, this is truly from the Heart. Such beauty and powerful a presentation. I only wish that the CD had all the songs on it that the DVD has, why did they leave some out? So I have bought 2 different CD's so that I can listen to all the songs that are on the DVD. I have watched and listened to various of the Irish recordings over the years, this one surpasses all others.

Though I haven't seen it yet, I am sure this concert is on par with all their others which have been beautiful in every way. If you live in Fargo/Mhd, tune in to your PBS station TONIGHT - Dec 3rd at 7pm to see the concert. (It will air again Dec 5th at 1am for all you night owls.)
