Editorial Reviews

Like Watase's popular Fushigi Yuugi...Ceres contains plenty of romance, but it's story is darker than Fushigi Yuugi's. As befits its origins in legend, Ceres has ominous undercurrents, and its themes are often on the edges of taboo. In tone, it's much like a Grimm's fairy tale; a story from outside our own time. Ceres is the best!!!! It's romance and violence all in one. Aya Mikage and Aki Mikage turn 16 but also that is the day of disaster. Suddenly everyone turns on Aya for some weird reason. The rest you have to find out on your own.

I really like this anime. It is darker than Fushigi Yuugi, definetly, but there are still some humourous and romantic parts in it. 'Ceres', in my opinion, keeps you interested all the way through this video. Any Yu Watase fan will enjoy it.
