    Very Funny!

Although I love season 1 a bit more, season 2 also has a lot of great skits and stuff in it. I never previously got to see the whole 2nd season, but I finally scored a copy of this season and watched it. There's the classic Rick James episode, and I like the moments in slow mo one and the LiL John stuff and everything like that...good times. The game show bit was pretty funny as well, and there were many other good skits. I like that they had all the stand up and bloopers and what not on the 3rd disc, and the fact that they started having musical guests. A lot of the musicians were pretty good too. The only thing I didn't like about season 2 was that it was a slight bit krasser than season 1, and I straight up just didn't care much for episode 10, which contained some stuff I found to be very innapropriate...especially the puppet show at the end that sings to a group of kids about contracting venerial disease, doing drugs, and other such things in a very crude way...as if it were a freakin twisted episode of sesame street or something. That episode alone docked this season a star in my book. Beyond that, however, the rest of this season was tollerable and pretty hilarious. Check this out folks if you like to laugh, especially if you are into black comedy, which I myself, though I'm white, like a fair share of, and Dave is an extremely funny guy. Some of this, yes, is somewhat racial, but Dave does it in a unifying sort of way and has people of all nationalities in his stuff, so I don't find it all that offensive really. A lot of it is just "what if" type stuff and just poking fun at racism itself. It's not just racial stuff either though. There are other funny things in it not race related too. But trust me folks, just pick up both season 1 and 2 if you've never seen any of this stuff. Both contain some hilarious material. Just watch out for episode 10 in this season, and in general, if you don't like any kind of vulgarity or krassness, then avoid this, but otherwise, dude...this is great stuff! Check it out! Below are some other great DVDs starring Dave Chappelle.

    A Great Buy

This was so freakin' hilarious! Me and my Dad watched it and laughed the whole time, and even Mom thought it was funny. I can watch the Rick James show a thousand times and still laugh. Definitely worth the money, and then some.

    Terrible

Just Jerkin' yer gerkin, five stars, this is freakin' awesome. It's 3 dvds, 14 episodes, and has some standup by Dave along with two more unaired stories from Charlie Murphy. His comedy is offensive as usual, so if you're easily offended, either don't watch it, or pop a prozac before viewing, just don't complain.
