I saw this movie, and it was, let's say, too quick, too soon. The story was confusing enough, due to the portayal of a negative, complicated loser, who wanted nothing more than to take the life of a beloved musician. Mark David Chapman compares himself to Holden Caulfield in "The Catcher in the Rye," which is quite obvious if you have read the novel before, which I had to do in school. He is just like Holden himself, which I find awfully sad. In this movie, Mark does nothing, but take advantage of the people surrounding him, especially with the people who have met, have connections with, and the actual fans of Beatle, John Lennon. The whole movie made me horribly sad because I am a fan of John Lennon, and the Beatles themselves. Though I thought Jared Leto did a great portayal of Mark, it was complete torture watching Chapman create a plot to murder John Lennon.
