Johnny Paul Dillon is that rare type of cab driver who will drive anywhere and pick up anyone, and during the 14 hours compressed here into 95 minutes, he ferries about some two-dozen passengers, including a rape victim Julianne Moore, a hyped-up drug runner, a pregnant woman, and holiday shoppers. Johnny is frustrated that he can't seem to make genuine connections with his passengers or help them. Instead, he can only observe a rear-view image mirroring the passing parade of humanity. Shown at Austin's 1998 South By Southwest Filmfest.

    it's a good moive but..

if you buy it thinking it's a horror movie it's not I got it just because it had john cusack even though he is only in it for a short time he is still good as scary weirdo. Other then that it's just about a driver picking up passengers and leaving them at there distensions. Some are crazy some are funny some are just like what? But all in all if you like hearing people rant about there lives. I would get it because to me I think its a good movie regardless on what's it about.
