Overview

A young orphan and his two siblings discover that dreams really can come true when a mysterious vagrant shows up in town just in time for the holidays. Seven year old Boo has just lost his parents. Though he and his baby sister Terri are doing their best to get by, the loss has hit their older brother Lawrence especially hard. Taken in by their kind and generous Aunt T., all three are learning to adjust to their new lives when star athlete Lawrence begins to lose interest in sports, and becomes drawn toward the streets. But just when it begins to look like Lawrence is about to fall in with a very bad crowd, a kindly old stranger shows up on Aunt T.'s doorstep seeking shelter. With Christmas just a week away, Aunt T. insists that the family opens their hearts and homes to this man in need. But this may be no ordinary man, because when a series of miraculous events begin to unfold, Boo finds that sometimes when things are looking their worst, everything can get brighter in the blink of an eye.
