Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble
On the heels of his most recent release, To Love Again: The Duets, heralded trumpeter Chris Botti brought in many of the album’s famous guests for two truly special nights at Los Angeles’ Wilshire Theatre in December 2005. With help from Sting ("What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?"), Jill Scott ("Good Morning Heartache"), Gladys Knight ("Lover Man"), and a full orchestra, Botti brings To Love Again’s finest moments to full, swooning life. Paula Cole also appears on this special, originally shown on PBS, performing "My One and Only Love," as well as helping out Burt Bacharach for his classic "The Look of Love." A host of bonus features are included on this DVD, including a profile of Botti's ace backing band, and a doozy of a number not shown in the original telecast -- Sting singing one of his biggest Police hits, "Message in a Bottle."

    Superb Performance

Chris Botti is accompanied by the some of the countries best musicians and most brilliant vocalists on this DVD. You will not be disappointed you if you love smooth jazz and a performer that bleeds class. I suggest the CD/DVD combination purchase because you will want to take this with you everywhere.
