    Awful

Terrible acting. I turned it off halfway through because it was so awful.

    Trash

This movie was definatly not worthy of the "Not Rated" label it got. It wasn't remotely family oriented-I thought maybe an "R" would be more appropriate.

    I Love This Movie!!

I have always loved the story of Cleopatra and this movie has told me the story so well. I got the movie for the first time from the library in our town and now I'm getting it for myself at home.

Amazing movie, can't believe it was made for televison

What a amazing movie. My mother bought it actcadently, at the time somehow making the mistake it was a biography for Cleopatra (I was studying Egypt in school) I am so glad she made that mistake. It covers the story amazingly well, from just before Cleopatra smuggles herself in a rug to see Ceaser. The competition between her and her sibilings is very intersting, how she hates her sister, yet feels sorry for her young brother. But the thing that makes this movie in my opinion is the relationships she has with the two differnt men, Ceaser and Anthony. Ceaser was much more of a political alliance, she did indeed manipulate him for her country, then grew to care for her. She just loved Egypt more. Then Anthony who in the end she truely loves, as much or more then her country. Billy Zane's preformance on Anthony is one of the best in the movie, he manages to take Anthony off the history pages and into real life, portraying him as a man, a great man who is not aware of his own greatness, but is constantly comparing himself and being stuck under the shadow of his friend Ceaser. It also helps that Billy Zane is quiet attactive. Great story, great characters, in my opinion one of the best Cleopatra films, I would definitly reccoomend it.
