Like his previous films, In Search of the Trojan War, In the Footsteps of Alexander the Great and In Search of Shakespeare, Michael Wood once gain delivers a great documentary in Conquistodors. By following in the footsteps of Hernan Cortez,Franscisco Orellana,Cabeza de Vaca and the Pizarro brothers Michael Wood uses actual locations and modern day populations to tell the story of the conquest of the New World and what it cost us in historical and emotional terms. This is a film that should be seen by everyone.
