If you are at all into great story lines/plots, action filled adventure, and witty humor, this is the DVD for you. I don't just call this any anime because it isn't. It will pull you in with the first episode. The characters are introduced and developed like that of a great novel. After finishing one episode I hated not seeing the next episode because I wanted to see what would happen next or the history of which character would be revealed next. You will defecate in your pants when you see the ending . . . trust me. The music is great too, lots of jazz, blues, techno (not mixed together). This was the first Anime I got into. I've tried your Gundam's, your DBZ's, and your Neon Avangelion's. Those are all horribly gut wrenching and make you want to shove needles in your eyes. This series is awesome, although it is for somewhat more mature viewers; a little blood and cussing never hurt anyone though. It's probably a PG rating. So all in all, just buy this DVD, you will not regret it. I promise.
Entertainment to the Max! Cowboy Bebop is as good as anime gets. I've seen every episode. The Real Folk Blues parts 1 and 2 are awesome
Good series. Like many animes(with the exception of many a Gundam series, some of which have 60 or 70 episodes) it only has 26 episodes. Besides being too short, it's got some weird plot episodes. But overall, it's a good series. ^__^
''Cowboy Bebop'' will stick in the minds of anime fans for a very long time to come, and the final disc of the six-disc DVD set is no less than marvelous. For the uninitiated, this series marvelously blends just the right elements of slapstick comedy, samurai epic and lone-wolf cowboy tale to create one of the most original and most memorable experiences in animation. While most of the amazing series is a comedy (interspersed with flashes of high drama), the last few episodes (*especially* the two-part finale, ''The Real Folk Blues'') are pegged more dramatically than the rest. Without revealing too much, I will say that we only bid farewell to one character; the rest are left open-ended. Make no mistake, though; Disc 6 is the *end* of the series. There will be no second season (Even the upcoming movie will take place *between* episodes). The animation quality, the story, the characters, the technology and the music (most of it consisting of GREAT jazzy music) all make this a series that no anime fan should be without. One suggestion, though... don't bother with the dub; the voices are not nearly as powerful or well-fit as the Japanese ones.
Cowboy Bebop is one of the best anime out there, and this DVD is the best of the best. These episodes are some of the most amazing things I have ever seen on TV. I particularly like the last 4 episodes. 'Brain Scratch' provides one last chance to see the crew work as a team. 'Hard Luck Woman' forces the girls to make some major decisions. (And try and get 'Call Me, Call Me' out of your head after watching this) And 'The Real Folk Blues' provides an apt but not-so happy ending. Plus Faye gives one of the best speeches to Spike in part II. Oh, and this is without a doubt the best dub out there, so watch dub and sub. Give everyone their due. Well, it was a strange ride, but it sure was fun! See you space cowboys...
I've seen Cowboy Bebop on Cartoon Network, it hooks you the gun fights are awesome and the jokes are funny so you should and will buy this sweet rock'in title!
