    Criminal Minds is Amazing

The second season has some of the best episodes. You get to learn a lot about each of the reasons these characters started into the work they did. Also the deleted scenes and audio commentary make it a must for any Criminal Minds fan.

This season really had the actors showing they are able to do more than just a procidial show. Shemar Moore has a stunning preformance in Profiler Profiled. Matthew Gray Gubler's amazing kidnapped episode is included on this season as well. Really this cast has really made this season better than the last. And that is saying something!

Oh and don't forget stunning preformances from Mandy Patinkin (especially in the Frank episodes), Thomas Gibson, A. J. Cook, and new comer Paget Brewster. Really this is a must have.

    Entertaining, Suspenseful, and Educational!

Criminal Minds, Season 2 opens with a successful transition from Season One's conclusion. The creators of this program are master craftsmen, and they manage to bring various dimensions together, episode by episode. On one level, the audience is gradually educated on the development of the Behavioral Analysis Unit, on the way that it was created by a team of F.B.I. personnel interviewing prisoners. This is, in fact, how the F.B.I.'s Behavioral Sciences Unit actually developed. On another level, we are witnesses of the science/art of profiling; each episode reveals the usefulness of this approach. The creators have also assembled a stellar cast of actors and actresses. Each one of them brings a unique approach to the cases, and each of their lives are impacted in dramatic ways by the atrocities they unveil. Obviously, in reality, cases aren't usually solved as quickly as the B.A.U. solves them, but this has to be done so that the audience can witness the full process of the investigation. I imagine the audience would shrink if we followed the cases in real-time. The creators of this show have done a tremendous job of introducing the "criminal mind." Excellent!

    The best Series

I stumbled onto Criminal Minds late one night when there was nothing on. I fell in love immediately. GREAT series. The only show I never miss. I have bought seasons 1-4 and will get the others later!

Review of Criminal Minds Season 2

I started watching this show from the beginning. I enjoy watching the characters grow with each season. Matthew Gray Gubler continues to be my favorite. Any fan who watches NCIS or Bones will also enjoy this show. I am now onto Season 4. I am not sure how many seasons there are, but I will be sad to see the purchase of these end. I must say, one of my favorite parts of this show is the quotes that are given at the beginning or the end of the show. Many I have written down and kept for later use. Great inspirational and motivational tools.

A great study in criminal thinking.

Fast moving, in depth study of how the criminal thinks and why. Love the way the team works together to solve the puzzles of the criminal mind. The individuals play well off of each other and make a great team. Each case is different and holds the interest.

Don't listen to the other reviewer

Okay. I seriously don't know what's the matter with the reviewer, but season 2 WAS THE BEST SEASON! The writing was excellent, and other actors in the show are great, with the exception of Mandy Patinkin, who seriously can't act worth of crap. It was ensemble, so I'm glad that he left. And by the way, Millenium is ENTIRELY different, Criminal Minds is a prodecural. And the other was a SCI-FI show.

    Don't waste your time.

Hackneyed scripts, atrocious acting...just another tired procedural. Though it gets a point for not being a "CSI" clone, it's a horrific mess of a promising concept marred by a weak cast. Mandy Patinkin, the show's one bright spot, has jumped ship. If you watch this season, you'll see why.

    Great Writing, Directing & Acting!

Creative story lines and great to watch. I love how they cut from scene to scene. Have the 1st season and can't wait for the 2nd.

I love this show. It's the one show I HAVE to watch! The cast is wonderful, all of them. I'm a Mandy Patinkin fan, however weak an actor he may be. The only character I'm not comfortable with is Prentiss, but I'm learning to get used to her. Can't wait for the 3rd season!
