Britney Spears' movie debut arrives on DVD in a package tailored to teens. Crossroads is presented in anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1, with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. Both English and French soundtrack options are available, along with English subtitles. A multitude of special features are available. The more mundane extras include a "Photo Gallery," three "Trailer & TV Spots" and the "DVD Credits." Three different "Featurettes" give behind the scenes views. "The Making of Crossroads: 40 Days With Britney" is an insider's look at the movie and it includes cast and crew interviews. "Taryn's T-Shirts" is a How-To piece that gives detailed instructions by Taryn Manning on creating the retro t-shirts the trio wore in the New Orleans Karaoke scene. "First in Line: Inside the Crossroads Premiere" is hosted by Zoe Saldana who gives an intimate look at the excitement and exhaustion of a premiere. Several "Deleted Scenes" are included with On-Camera Introductions by Director Tamra Davis. A number of humorous outtakes involving Lucy's (Spears) lab partner, Henry (Justin Long) trying unsuccessfully to seduce her make this piece especially worth watching. A "Commentary by Producer Ann Carli, Director Tamra Davis & Writer Shonda Rhimes" gives amusing anecdotes about the actresses involved. It could not be a Britney DVD if "Music Videos" of "Overprotected" and "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" were not included. Spears' involvement is found in "Britney's DVD Welcome" and "Break Through Britney", a Pop-Up extra that allows viewers to see Britney break through the movie in a small pink bubble to share her personal memories. Two features appealing to the Pop star wannabe are "Edit Your Own Music Video" which allows participants to choose the order of video sequences in Britney's "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" video and "Sing Along With Britney" which includes Karaoke videos of "Overprotected" and "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman." On a whole, Crossroads' DVD is a great package that should leave fans "Anticipating" more work from Britney as an actress.

This movie is awsome! i realate so much to the three teen agers. see i have to friend, and we have been so close since 1st grade. I as well as lucy love to sing. I realy urge you all to buuy the movie once it comes out.
This movie is totaly cool ya'all i thought brittney did some awsume acting.
Honestly i only watched it because I'm a big fan of Britney Spears but I still liked it but I'm not sure if I will get the video.
this movie is not so bad i happen to like it I seen it on the Bravo station and its cool i remember i had it on VHS tape and i want it on dvd but its not at the video store or any otherv stores its a nice movie and has some drama in it but Briteny Spears is so cool as Lucy and she sings at the end of the movie so who cares what the other people have to say about this movie those people are just critcal and rude this happens to be a nice movie i sure like it
i couldn't beleave it i thought when i went to see this with my friends oh my god this is going to so suck the move started and there i was wow i loved it it so good it even made me cry and im like so masculine and i had to turn my head britney spears is probley the best actress that is also the pop princess if u seriously want a good movie to rent or/and buy get crossroads its the cross between great and excelence.
Not enough words can express how emotional this movie was, not only is britney spears a great singer but this movie proves that acting is another talent of her's and im not making such a big deal because her co stars make the movie even better. this movie is a must see it makes you laugh it makes you cry and it has a great moral, never give up on your dreams and sometimes dreams may change but friends are forever. this cast includes: anson mount-ben, zoe~ saldana-kit, taryn manning-mimi, britney spears-lucy waggner, & kim cattral-lucys mom, so bacicly crossroads is about three girls who couldnt be more different right? but as we learn, they used to be the best of friends, three little girls who buired a time capsule to dig it upon the night of there high school graduation. thats when the movie starts.it'll be the start of a whole new journey for them,in more ways than one.i guess the most important thing they learn is that it's not where you come from its wher your going.
I went and saw this movie in the theatre with a bunch of my gal pals and we loved it. It deals with real teenage issues and the plot is rather sweet. I think that everyone should just give Britney Spears a chance; she's not all that bad. Sure she may wear some skimpy clothes at times but so does every other girl in show business. If you haven't seen this movie yet don't listen to all the negative reviews it is a cute, fun, and upbeat film everyone must see it.
I absolutely hated this movie! It was the most annoying thing I have ever seen! I think Britney Spears is the prettiest thing in the world and she can dance too! But when it comes to singing OR acting, she's gotta go! This movie was so horribly written, directed and acted! The only person who I didn't mind looking at was the guy who went on the trip with them! Oh and what a stupid concept: If you really hate someone, you don't actually go on a trip with them!!!!!!
I liked this movie becuase it's sad, funny and she sings in this movie. 4 her 1st movie britney did a good job. i would like 2 see her in more movies.
it was great. lucy a small town girl sets off with her friends on a roadtrip filles with a lot of fun. she goes to find her mom, her friend that is pregnant goes to go to california to become a star the other friend goes to see her boyfriend.a boy they start to think is a killer drives them on it. it is filled with friend ship and a lot of fun!!!
I wish people would stop saying Britney is a bad actress. In the movie Crosroads she proves acting is just one of her many talents. Crossroads has everything a good movie needs singing, dancing, fab acters and a lot of laughs. I highly recomend this movie to everyone.
this movie shines it has a great plot, a great cast, and most of all a great moral ''dreams change but friend's are forever'' britney wasn't expected to be this ''perfect'' in the movie she has talent and this is where she let it all show!!!!!!!!
I watched this movie a couple of hours ago and it took all I had just to stay awake through it. There obviously was NO acting talent in this movie, it was extremely corny, and why in the world did they call it ''Crossroads''? And also, did they really have to make Britney Spears sing that much? Every time a little music came on during the movie, all I thought was, ''Here we go again having to listen to Britney sing (like we don't hear her on the radio 20 times a day already).'' The only reason I wanted to see this movie was because I had watched ''A Walk To Remember'' not too long ago. And since that movie had a singer starring in it (Mandy Mooore) and it was actually a good movie, I thought ''Crossroads'' would be the same. I was very wrong. I totally recommend everybody NOT to see this movie. I do have to admit though, Anson Mount (Ben) is the only reason I watched the whole thing.
I like Britney and all-but I didn't think she was going to be able to act-but she did a good job. The movie targets it's crowd- its a teenager movie-you can't expect much from it. But it was a cute movie. A cute movie to see with your girls.
i've seen this film about 20 times. its the perfect family film to just sit down and relax and for tyhe best of friends to just chill. speaking of friends thats what the film is about three friends living there dreams and even if there dreams dont turn out right they know they well be friends forever.
The movie lacked a good plot, script, and really had no point to it. It just didn't hold my interest.
my name is janielle and this movie was so great i took my 14 year old daughter and she wants a copy on dvd and vhs its such a great film with dreams and heart warmed friendships i really recommend you buy this movie and i know alot of you will say ''well it's probly not that good because britney spears is in it'' well its a perfectly genuine movie and britney spears adds the other 99% of greatness to this movie i know im buying it.
Not enough words can express how emotional this movie was, not only is britney spears a great singer but this movie proves that acting is another talent of her's and im not macking such a big deal because her co stars make the movie even better. this movie is a must see it makes you laugh it makes you cry and it has a great moral, never give up on your dreams and sometimes dreams may change but friends are forever. this cast includes: anson mount-ben, zoe~ saldana-kit, taryn manning-mimi, britney spears-lucy waggner, & kim cattral-lucys mom, so bacicly crossroads is about three girls who couldnt be more different right? but as we learn, they used to be the best of friends, three little girls who buired a time capsule to dig it upon the night of there high school graduation. thats when the movie starts.it'll be the start of a whole new journey for them,in more ways than one.i guess the most important thing they learn is that it's not where you come from its wher your going.
It was ok. Not my favorite but I like it. I would like to read the book if they come out with. I think Britney Spears did a good job.
ok so we all know britney gets alot of flack for what she wears and what she says and what she doesnt say, but people she's not a little girl anymore you wont beleive all the bad reviews this movie got just because britney spears is in it. i think that people said all this stuff and didnt even see the film. it is one of the finnest film i have ever seen it brings out the ''end'' in ''friend''.
Crossroads Is A Very Good Movie, Britney Did Her Best Job On This Movie.I Relly Loved The movie! Beacuse I Think That They Put Relly Good Issues That Hapen In Real Life.
My friend & I went into this movie just wanting to see if Britney Spears could really act, we were very surprised for her first film - it really wasn't that horrible. Grant you, it could have been a bit better. But if she makes any further movies, I will be sure to go and see them. They can only get better with age, right? I do recommend renting this movie, not purchasing it though.
HAHAHA¿is this a joke or something? It is obvious that those who have given the 5 stars are teenagers who don¿t have a clue of what a genuine film is all about. This movie was truly something horrible. The storyline was extremely awful and the acting was excruciating. Seriously people aside from the fact that Miss. Spears should stick to her singing, which by the way is something I¿m not very fond of since Britney possesses absolutely no vocal talents and only gets by with her looks but that¿s beside the point of how simply pathetic this motion picture is, this film is truly something you should avoid at ¿The Wiz¿ or wherever it is that you people by your movies. Britney Spears¿ debut is something she will categorically have a heart attack laughing over when she is much older because it is beyond doubt something she should be ashamed of. The whole pregnancy issue throughout the movie and the revelation of who the father is, is hilarious if I should say myself¿the fact that mimi was the one who wanted to be a singer and all of a sudden Miss. Spears gets the lead is somewhat annoying and also how they all go on a journey with a stranger who they suspect is a criminal¿and Britney¿s ¿Crying¿ scene¿I mean its simply too much for me¿lol. Britney should undeniably contact singer/ACTRESS Mandy Moore for some acting coaching for she truly was magnificent in ¿A Walk To Remember¿ which is the kind of film that should be classified as ¿unique¿ unlike this shaggy dog story of a film. Anyways if you do get a hold of this thing, which shouldn¿t at all be referred to as a movie, do the world and humans everywhere a big fat favor¿BURN IT! Unless you accomplish this atrocious act of obtaining this joke of a film through BlockBuster, think about it before you do for you might later on find yourself in a bit of a predicament when you do have to return it. And again I ask¿Where are the semi-stars???
let me just say that this must be one of the most amusing teen flicks i have ever come across. honestly, what could possibly be more hilarious than britney's romantic interest flouncing across the sand on the side of the road, all the while spewing angrily, ''Da! Da!'' i'm laughing just thinking about it. and the part where he stuck out his belly as they were having a ''romantic/sexual'' moment? pure genious. whoever came up with the idea for this movie needs a big pat on the back. i've never laughed harder.
this is a movie that i would tell myfriends about and let them be the judge if they like it or not.
