    loved it

I have had this video for a couple of years, and always come back to it. I like Ellen, she is very good at leading the routing, without being annoying. It is easy to follow along with for any beginners.

    I LOVE this!!

I originally borrowed this from my friend when I wanted to lose my pregnancy weight. I loved it so much that I bought it myself! I have been doing it almost every day because I find it to be energizing and fun! I also love that it is not too long or too short, I can do it while my son is napping! I have lost 30 pounds so far with this workout and of course a healthier diet. I think Ellen is one of the best instructors I have come across. She reminds you at the right times when to breathe, and her cues are easy to pick up. I love the matwork portion! I always end the video feeling full of energy and really "ready to go conquer the world"! I definately would recommend it to even beginners to pilates and people who aren't in the best of shape. The modifications help you build up to the advanced level. I started out doing only the modified versions, and now I can do all of it the way Ellen does.

    Amazing

i felt this workout video to be very effective and enjoyable the first time I tried it out. It keep me energized and motivated throughout the whole video. What I liked the most about this video were the women. They all looked very relaxed and free.

    Easy to follow, strengthening workout

I love this video. I've purchased many fitness videos in the past and this is the one I use the most by far. The 50 minutes fly by, and at the end I feel energized and healthy.

    One of my favorites

Love the setup and the colorful attire. It's 45 minutes of overall body conditioning at a moderate pace for those days when you just don't want to overwork yourself. I hate floor workouts and have tried other pilates DVDs but this one I enjoyed the most because the percentage of the routine is done standing up. It is true that the camera focus on the congo player, but once you watched the video several times and mastered the routine there will be no need to focus on the instructor. The instructor calls out every single routine and explains in detail what muscles are being worked. At times that can be annoying but it was informative.

    Great workout

I love this video. Ellen, who leads the workout, is bubbly, but not in an annoying way. Her moves are easy to follow and very effective. The only thing that's odd is that the most buff woman of the group is the one who modifies the moves to make them easier!

    Great first Pilates video

Without much to go on, I really enjoyed the video. It was easy to follow and the instructor was motivating, but not a 'cheer-leader'. Pilates is definately the way to go!

    Not what I expected

It's a great cardio workout, but it doesn't even fit the title. It SOOOO does not exude much of a pilates workout. The cardio program definitely lets you feel the burn, but other than that, you only get maybe about 10 measly minutes of ineffective pilates in there.

    Fun, effective workout

After using Firm tapes for a couple of years, my daughter(19 yrs.) and I (40+)decided to try this and other Crunch videos to alternate. We really enjoy the routine; the time goes quickly and the moves are not too hard or too easy. This is a great video to mix in with other workouts.

    My new favorite workout

Fat burning pilates is a great workout - the upbeat music makes the workout fun, while the moves really help you feel the burn! Some of the moves are hard to follow at first, but once you see it demonstrated and try once or twice, it becomes easy enough to follow.

    Not so Good

The fat burning is supposed to be low impact aerobics but it does not seem to make any difference from regular pilates since it is low impact. Doing most of the excercises standing is different to get used to. There is not much focus on abs in this. The worst part in the tape is every time the intructors demostrate a new move the camera cuts to the guy playing drums in the background. You can't see what is happening.
