A must for fans of DMB!

This DVD shows behind the "scenes" of the making of a DMB concert. With it being in Central Park, it was a very cool show. Dave's performance was phenominal and there are an endless amounts of songs played. My favorite DMB live DVD, of all time.

    DMB never fails to entertain

I gave this to my mother for Christmas and I watched it Christmas day with my parents, my husband, my brothers, and my sister-in-law. We were all so relaxed and sang along. We didn't talk the whole time. We just enjoyed it. I have been to 15 or so live DMB concerts and this is one of the best by far.

This concert from 2003 is one of the best Concert DVD's I have seen. The set is second to none including unforgettable 10+ minute versions of Dancing Nancies and Warehouse. Plus Warren Haynes stage performance of Cortez the Killa and Jimi Thing adds some spice to the fine tuned band.

    Simply Amazing

This is another amazing Dave Matthews Concert, probably one of the best! Dave Matthews is such an outstanding live artist because he is a good musician. You don't see a lot of bands like this. The members of the band are especially talented. Dave is very creative and unique. He is able to sing and play throughout a full range of genres. Carter is a beast. Self-taught drums since age 3. He is not your average drummer. He is very diverse, never plays the same thing twice, and simply amazing. Stefan is a wonderful bassist. He does not just play the standard lines throughout the songs. He is always adding very interesting licks through the entire piece. He even has a 3.5 minute solo in this particular concert. Boyd is probably one of the most energetic members of this band. He studied classical violen for a number a years. He is talented and brings tremendous energy boosts during his solos. Leroi is a skilled jazz saxophone player. He solos and improvs constantly on all of the saxophone instruments as well as the flute and piccolo at times! Butch is an awsome keyboardist. He is almost always in the background but adds so many colors. These colors make the band's sound very very rich. This concert is very spiritual. I spend a lot of time thinking about this concert and all the works of Dave Matthews because it gives me a endless supply of energy. It is amazing! Do not be fooled by the 1-raters. If you like good, artistic, energetic music, this is it! The Dave Matthews Band is a team out of this world. I am confident that anyone in the world will enjoy this work to some degree! Listen and Enjoy my friends! Joseph W.

    Simply amazing

This concert was one of his best ever. You cannot watch it enough. It is so moving. Incredible. I've had it for 2 weeks now and I still love it to death. Out of 100 people that bought this, I think 99 people loved it and 1 person hated it. Unfortunatly, that one person writes the review and maybe 1 out of the 99 do. Ignore what they say. If you like dmb or you are a fan, then prepared to be enthralled!

    Moving millions...

Okay, I think this is fair to say...The DMB Band has left a respectable mark on the live music scene. I know some people just do not like his voice (and that's okay because it is not a perfectly trained voice) and sometimes I don't want to hear it either. But the band can throw down and make a stadium shake. Here's the best part, Dave himself admits that they carry him. But they found their "sound" and it has made an impact. You don't have to like it.... even if millions of people already do...if you can agree that music is good for bringing people together, then you have to at least respect that the DMB has played a lot of shows for a lot of people (they tour like it is their job, and have moved millions. Oh, and if you really want to bash the frat boy, sorority crowd...please try to remember that we all go through phases (I was never in a frat or sorority) and that many of us outgrow that to become decent people. So, I am sure that "My Old LunchBox", "Digital Fidget", and "Useless Fusion" are the underground bands that you may claim make the DMB look like weenies, but Dave, Carter, LeRoi, Stefan, and Boyd tour a lot, work hard, and they are not the worst/best band in the history of music ever. sleep tight, Matt

How does Dave get away with it?

I think Dave probably CAN sing, but his caterwauling limp-wrist voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. I guess he conned enough young skulls-full of mush into thinking his "Style" is cool. I'm waiting for the day about 15 years down the road when his "cool voice" won't be able to draw flies. Then he might have to actually SING some real songs!

    DMB HATERS HAVE NO TASTE

They are simply one of the greatest bands to ever form in the history of music and whoever hates on them has no taste in music what so ever. WE COULD GIVE TWO SHYTS ABOUT YOUR OPINION! DAVE MATTHEWS BAND LIVES FOREVER

    DAVE MATTHEWS SUCKS!!!

Their frontman CANNOT sing worth a tinker's damn and they also try to make weird and orchestral sounds like Led Zeppelin, but it makes their music sound even worse. Dave Matthews is overrated, untalented and they still suck!

    Dave Matthews: over-rated and dull

I wonder when Dave Matthews will take some singing lessons. For some extraordinary reason, he thinks singing is going up and down the scale for no apparent reason. If you want three songs repeated for three hours sung by someone who should rightfully be singing in a bar in Staten Island, go right ahead.

    AWSOME AWSOME AWSOME!!!!

All I can say is Awsome. If you have ever been to a dave concert this will blow the one you went to away. When Dave comes in strong with Don't drink the water, you know that it will be amazing. Dancing Nancies wiht a mix with Bartender is spectacular. And Jimi Thing...no words to describe it. This is a must buy.
