This box set hones in exclusively on four episodes of the program that starred Martin and Lewis. Special guests include Polly Bergen, Coinnie Russell, Dorothy Dandridge and Helen O'Connell

    Highly Recommended Family Approved Fun

If you are a Jerry Lewis fan like I am, this is a must watch! The comic team of Martin and Lewis is fabulous in this collection of Colgate Comedy Hour Shows from the 1950's. The rapport between Jerry and Dean is evident in the sketches they perform on simple sets of the era. Jerry Lewis' comic genius will remind you of modern day Robin Williams when he changes character within seconds. Much ad libbing is done by both. Their friendship and love for each other comes through in the skits they perform, and you can see the fun they and their cast had doing the shows. Too bad shows of this quality are no longer being prduced. Lucky for us that this great DVD is available to enjoy now.
