    Death Note vol. 2

Death note is basically about a guy called Light who after finding the infamous Death Note "a notebook that gets rid of anyone just by writing their name", decides to rid the world of criminals as the robin hood of his generation..sort of called Kira. But the police which includes his father and the famous but secretive detective L are to put an end to Kira's reign. Along the way Light gets some help from the book's former owner a Shingami called Ryuk and meets another fellow notebook owner the easily hyper and cheerful Misa Amane and her Shingami friend Rem. Yes I couldn't tell if Rem was a she or a he at first. L and Kira then play a game to outdo each other to see who'll come out victorious as both work together to stop Kira with Light pretending of course to stop L from catching him.
