This 90-minute spy parody involves a secret crime-fighting unit made up of sexy schoolgirls Amy Sara Foster, Dominique Devon Aoki, Janet Jill Ritchie, and Max Meagan Good. A government agency recruited them for the team based on their standardized test scores, which assumed a propensity for lying and thieving. Their assignment is to take down major villain Lucy Diamond Jordana Brewster. As it turns out, all she really wants to have an illicit affair with D.E.B.S. leader Amy. Michael Clarke Duncan plays the president of D.E.B.S. Academy. D.E.B.S. was shown at the Sundance Film Festival in 2004.

    Cute

I loved this movie- it was kind of cheesy and predictable, but adorable at the same time. It was funny in that it was so far fetched, and yet you could still relate to it.

    I Also Recommend:

Put on your campy hat, don't take it seriously, and you'll have a good time.

D.E.B.S. is a lesbian love story wrapped in a film trying to be a campy, quirky comedy/action/coming of age story. I say "trying to be" because the film never seems to decide what it is. At times it takes itself seriously, which is ridiculous, and other times it hits the camp nail right on the head. Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster) is hot and is practically a Demi Moore look-a-like. But my favorites were the secondary characters - the French girl and Lucy's criminal right hand man. They were allowed to be 100% campy and never had to take themselves seriously. Don't get me wrong, I really liked D.E.B.S., even if I can't put my finger on why! I do recommend it, especially if you enjoyed films like But I'm a Cheerleader.

    exploitation

This film has rare entertaing moments - mostly brewster's intensity in close ups - but in general it is just an opportunity to put young actress in ever shorter catholic school uniforms. It plays like a Britney Spears video meets a bad pisode of Popular. Brewster and her side kick (name escapes me) have their talent totally wasted, the Asian girl masquerading as French cannot mask the fact she is playing a watered down version of a previous part with the new accent, the black girl is a walking stereotype, and the ditzy girl is either a brilliant actor or talentless. I think they definitely had preteen male audiences in mind with this one but it fun, if you wanna sit around and laugh at how bad it is. otherwise rent show me love, the truth about jane, or some other teen lesbian flick that wants to entertain not exploit you.

    outstanding!

I just watched this movie about 2 months ago. Even though it's been so long I still love it! Forbidden love, absolutly funny spots in it, and above all the guy that trys to get Amy back is so funny on ways to get her back. There are also some great romantic spots in it that guys have tried to get girls back. It's such a cutie.

    A total chick flick

The movie is funny and stars some of todays rising female actors. It is a story of forbidden love between a female spy and the female criminal mastermind. Jordana Brewster shines as Lucy Diamond the criminal looking for love, Mehgan Goode is super funny as Max the lead D.E.B., Sarah Foster was sweet as Lucy's love interest and the perfect D.E.B. , Jill Ritchie is hilarious as the underachieving D.E.B.and Devon Aoki expressions as the french chain smoking D.E.B. cracked me up. It's not a serious movie and it is not in your face with any political statements. Just a super funny action driven ride.
