In addition to the 20-minute Pilates workout, Austin leads the viewer through a workout that combines yoga with Pilates. Supplemental materials include a special segment to assist the viewer in sculpting his or her hips, thighs, and buttocks. This is a good introductory exercise video.

Denise Austin cruises through this workout with very little instruction on proper positioning and breathing, which are essential to pilates. This is not for a beginner who would not otherwise have received the above mentioned instruction.

I felt that this was a good instructional video, especially for beginners. My only gripe was the very little emphasis on breathing. This video could have used a more intense workout section in it, part 2 was lame. In my opinion, it was worth the cost.

Denise Austin has always had great exercise tapes. But this one is not one of them. Other pilates instructors give better instructions and better moves. Just okay.

I've been wanting to start a Pilates workout & happened to come across this video the other day. This video is so easy to follow & she talks clear enough so you can understand what she is saying. I do both sessions at a time because I feel so relaxed. Now I feel confident enough to take a Pilates/Yoga class, since I've got the basics down.

I chose a Denise Austin Pilates Video since I usually like her gentle, well instructed approach. I was disappointed with this video, because, although it states it is for all fitness levels--it is not a beginner's video in my mind! I thought it moved too quickly with very little modification for beginners and not enough emphasis on breathing. The second half of the video, although seems to be a good work out, has a lot of awkward transitions. PS If you have any sort of back problems, I would NOT recommend this video. I do not have any back problems, but this video made me think of those people who do!

This video is great! For years I have been working out but just recently tried her videos and am already seeing results. I have been doing this video and her fat burning yoga video for three weeks and have noticed a difference. Not only in my body shape but my overall well being. Denise is easy to follow and always encouraging. I recommended this video to everyone.

I have been wanting to lose some weight for a while now but have no willpower. I love to eat. I cannot stick with an exercise routine, I get sick of it and frustrated. I had heard so much talk about Pilates and decided to try it. I exercised with Denise years ago when she was on ESPN. I have another tape of hers as well, Hip, Thighs and Buttocks, which I enjoy because it is only a 30 minute workout. So when I saw she had a Pilates tape of course that was the one I was going to go with! I love this workout and it is something I have been sticking with. Denise is so encouraging. After doing the workout once my abs were tight (and sore). It was incredible. With this not being a muscle-pumping, sweaty workout and only being 20 minutes long this is what I have been looking for for a long time! I love Denise Austin's Pilates!

When it comes to exercise, I am totally lazy. I can't handle any exercise that involves breathing too hard or the commitment any significant amount of time. So when I came across this video and started doing it awhile, I was delighted to discover that, along with some minor adjustments to my diet, I could become thinner and stronger with only 20 minutes of effort a day. I have lost 10 very stubborn pounds in six weeks and feel balanced and poised. I don't even feel like I'm exercising until it's done, I'm sweaty, and my muscles burn. I find Denise to be a little cuckoo, but it makes the tape really entertaining.

I love this video! Denise Austin is an excellent instructor. There are 2 parts to the video. Each part lasts 20 minutes. The video is very well excecuted and can be challenging to beginners, especially in part 2 of the video where she combines yoga and pilates. However, it will get easier if you keep with it. I could see toning of my ab within couple weeks of using it 2 -3 times a week. Your body also feels very refreshed after each exercise. I definitely recommend this video to anyone. It was one of the best investments that I have ever made.

I have many Denise Austin tapes, but this one is one of my favorites! I notice after every workout, it seems to cleanse my body as well as condition, tone my abs, and firm my chest and arms. At first when I tried this workout I found it very difficult for the first three times, but now it is getting much easier, although, it is tough if your abs are out of shape. I have four children and have used this video to snap back after my last 2 children. I love the flow and find the 20 min. a day very energizing and soothing at the same time. A great well rounded workout.

This tape has 2 work outs. They help center you.. and at the same time the results are amazing for your stomach, arms and legs.. and.. NO IMPACT on your body it is all floor/mat work

I have been ill with chronic asthma and have been worried about getting back in to a work out schedule. I have been studying the Pilate¿s Method due to the fact that it is a toning work out with out undo stress on my lungs. Denise shows the Method perfectly. At first I was very weak but now I am stronger by the day!! Thanks Denise!

I have noticed a real difference in the shape of my legs since I began working out to this video. If you feel that you have short (or squat) legs, I recommend that you give this video a try. You will notice the difference within days.

I am not calling this a cure all, but my stomach is the fatest part on my body and, while I didn't notice a huge fat loss, I really noticed tremendous toning by using this tape 4 times a week for a month or so. I have not experienced that with crunches or machines. I would recommend this (and I do) to anyone.

This is a hard workout that doesn't feel hard. It makes your muscles shake while you're working out, but it's not hard on your joints. I feel really good since starting this. I recommend it to everyone I know. I love how my body feels when I finish - stretched out, cleansed and energized!

A superb workout that is low impact. Results guaranteed if you use on a regular basis. There are 2 workouts on this video. The first is more for beginners and the second is more advanced.

I used to watch Denise Austin years ago and I fell in love with her workout ethics because she unlike many others seemed so real and down to earth. I had been interested in doing yoga and pilates but ''claimed'' I could never find the time. I swear by this workout, I do one session one day and the next day I do the other session. I LOVE this tape because she makes you feel that you have your own personal trainer.

I've been doing traditional Pilates for about a year now, and I love the way Denise does it. I don't do Yoga, but love the Yoga session on this tape too. Boy is it a challenge, but you feel sooooooo good after! Both sessions leave you feeling refreshed, with a sense of well-being. Truly productive workouts in only 20 min. each.

I get up thirty minutes earlier Monday through Friday and do one of the 20 minute workout segments on the tape. It is relaxing, invigorating and great for your body and mind. It is truly a great way to start your day. Doing this tape has motivated me to start doing cardio and eating better. It has really made a difference for me.
