What are your "female fat zones"? According to fitness giant Denise Austin, your hips, thighs, upper arms, tummy, and buttocks are effective bottlenecks of fat -- and it's to trim these areas into shape that Austin devised this 40-minute, two-stage program. The regimen works out your lower and upper body, as well as your abdominal muscles, with an eye toward elevating your metabolism while improving your figure's contours. A set of 3-pound weights is recommended for the first 20-minute workout, which is designed to dissolve bra lines; sex up your arms, chest, and shoulders; and trim all around your hips, thighs, and buns. The second 20 minutes calls for a stability ball, which helps in a series of tummy-flattening moves and includes exercises designed to tone your inner and outer thighs and reduce your hips.

Great exercise program. I own a slew of workout dvd's and videos and I find this one by far the most enjoyable, the most do-able and the one I can stand to do on a regular basis without getting bored. I disagree with the reviewer who said Denise Austin is annoying. I think she is very motivating and certainly keeps me going. An excellent workout that will help scupt your body and energize you at a normal pace vs. wearing you out with uneccesary jumping, annoying music, and an accelerated pace. Highly recommended personally to all my friends who have recently given birth.

I started this video a few weeks ago and I've already lost an inch around my waist. I needed something to help me tone up after I had my first child and this is definitely a keeper! After a week or two I upped the weights to 5 and I'm planning on adding ankle weights to make it extra challenging.

This video is great! It will shrink your female fat zones. If you follow her book along with the video you will see great results.

This is a great workout video for anyone who likes to keep moving. Denise alternates from upper body to lower body and abs and a rapid pace and the 40 minutes fly by...Don't get me wrong, she says some ridiculous things and her voice can be super annoying but just laugh at her--it burns more calories. After 2 weeks (doing the video 3 nights a week) I've lost an inch in my hips and an inch in my waist and I feel great!

I love this DVD. Denise Autin does a great job keeping you motivated. She is the best instructor I have ever seen. It is like working out with your best friend

This video is great. It has different levels so when you get the hang of one level it is time to go to the next level. I recommend this tape Before you try anything else

Promo states that this is 2 complete 20 minute workouts, but there is no cooldown after the 1st 20 minutes, it just rolls into the workout with the stability ball workout. A great video if you have 40 minutes, but if in fact you want 2 separate and complete 20 minute workouts with independent warmups and cooldowns, you will be disappointed. Each segment is very good, but I was disappointed that it wasn't formatted as 2 workouts.

As a runner, I rarely do workout videos. However, Shrink Your Female Fat Zones has become my new favorite supplement to running. While Denise Austin says some bizzare things, her crazy antics are oddly motivating. I have become a total fan! The workout itself is fabulous as well, targeting all the areas I need a little extra help with! :)

If you love working with a stability ball, then this is the DVD for you. I love my ball which happens to be from the Core Secrets set (sadly I didn't like the DVD as much as the ball that came with it)...back to the topic though. Denise gives you a fun and thorough workout in SYFFZ. It REALLY does work! I have exercised using her products for years. Recently I had slacked off (almost a year) with my workouts. I decided it was time to get back into motion. Using this DVD, eating right and getting back into walking, I got back to my old toned up self in a few weeks. If you stick to it...you'll see the results...guaranteed!

Just started using this video and love it. The first time I did it, it didn't seem like I really used many muscles and I wondered how I could tone if I couldn't feel. However, after the next two days of feeling my muscles (not pain but more like mild soreness) I realized I had gotten more of a workout then I thought. Also have found that wearing shoes is a must when using the stability ball if you are like me and not very graceful.

The first 20 minutes consist of weights, and the second 20 minutes consist of an exercise ball. This is a good toning video; however, I did not want to start buying a lot of extras, like the ball, in order to do toning. Also, this is not a good video if you have problems balancing. I would have liked to see more toning of the abs.

I checked out this DVD from my local library. I'm glad I didn't spend the money to buy it because I would have been upset. I tried to start it, but Denise is so annoying. I couldn't even stand 5 minutes of it - she keeps repeating 'looking good!' 'feeling great!' 'strong body!' over and over. Needless to say, I'm taking this one back and don't plan to try any of her other workouts.

I was a fan of Denise from reading her advice in the Prevention magazine. But after playing this dvd for the first time, I am no longer. Regardless of the quality of the exercises, her voice is very annoying and gushy and I had to turn off the volume to complete the exercises. It is among my pile of things "to donate".
