    Good home workout

This yoga workout really makes you sweat. While it moves a little quickly, as Denise usually does, it challenges all the muscle groups and when you're finished, you feel like you've worked out. This is a nice routine that strengthens, stretches, and makes you breathe all in the comfort of your home. This workout focuses more on fat burning, do not expect any of the relaxing, calming aspects of other yoga workouts. The title doesn't lead one to believe otherwise...

    Moves Fast

I've been doing this for a while and still having a little trouble keeping up. Denise doesn't seem consistent in the time she holds poses -- basically you hold the pose as long as she does. Sometimes it's quicker or longer.

    Such a great workout!

I only recently started trying yoga because I was getting bored with my regular gym workouts. I'm so glad I tried it, I never thought I would enjoy it so much. I really like this DVD.

    Awesome!

I love love love this video, it's the second one I'm ordering since I lost my first copy. I used this video to stay in shape during college and even to get fit for my wedding. It's one hour, so I recommend going through the video at least once and then every workout after that you can turn on PIP (picture-in-picture) if your tv has it, and just do the moves while watching something else. Denise Austin is like a lovable mom and she's really chipper but it's surprisingly never annoying. She just gives motivational verbal hugs from time to time. I highly recommend this, a few weeks after I first started this video my mom said she really saw a difference-even if you don't notice, others will!

Not Real Yoga... But Definately Gets the Job Done

I was reluctant to try this video because my first introduction to Denise Austin was on tv about 20 years ago, and then I thought she was a little on the cheesy side. However, I recently went to local yoga classes and have found a great appreciation for yoga but didn't want to have to wait till the weekend to fit yoga into my schedule. I really like this video because it has some traditional yoga poses like Downward Facing Dog/Cobra which are incorporated into Sun Salutations. Its a fast paced pseudo-yoga tape which helps you break out a sweat instead of your other yoga videos out there. I found this video to be greatly effective and incorporates toning and strength training through the introduction of using a stability ball. I find that under her constant talking are helpful tips in achieving a balanced body and workout. Tips you will not find in many other exercise videos. Downside, I think this would be even better if the warmup section included more stretching at the beginning, allowing for you to comfortably do the other exercises later in the DVD. Maybe some real yoga/pilates stretches during the initial warm-up would offer the viewer an easier and successful transition through the tape. It is possible to see a difference in your body if you do it 3 times a week and have a balanced and control diet. You will definitely feel better and be in better respiratory shape even if you don't find yourself losing weight. You will have more energy and get in touch with your core/abdomen through doing a lot of the balancing poses. I just hope Denise Austin comes out with at least one or two more yoga DVDs so there is diversity and a lack boredom through continuous use.

    Not a Jock

I am not a jock (or flexible), but have been (fortunately) small my entire life. Unemployment, too many chocolate pies, and hitting 27 added new weight in new (undesired) places. In THREE WEEKS I had the body I wanted again. I felt confident and sexy. I can't do all the poses exactly as Denise does, but she emphasizes "this workout is for you...do what YOU can." Perkiness, something I usually find annoying, was oddly motivating for me. I HIGHLY recommend this to yoga newbies. It seems like you're doing practically nothing, but your body DOES respond.

    not the greatest

It can be difficulty to follow because she uses yoga moves at aerobic speed to get the heart rate up. I think you end up loosing the the point of yoga (relaxing, stretching and some strength training). You will sweat some If you hold the positions the way your suppose to. I was looking for more stretching and some strength building moves.

    Really great!!!!!!

I had never tried Yoga before, and when I got this DVD thought it was hard and boring. If you feel the same, and are not in good shape (I wasn't either) don't try to do the whole thing at once. Try to break workout 1 in 3 sections of 10 minutes each and do every section many times until you're able to move to the next. Now that I've gotten past the fact of "being able" to follow Denise, I think this workout is one of her best, and one that you can easily get addicted to. I've seen myself going from zero elasticity and very poor balance, to reaching the floor with both palms of my hands, and doing 45 mins without interruption(am skipping workout 3, b/c don't have the stability ball), as well as holding all the poses as long as Denise does. Talking about addiction--I can't go more than a few days without doing this workout--my body needs all the stretching and lengthening that it provides.

    still sleeping

This was the worst Denise Austin dvd ever! It was very slow moving and you don't really feel like you are getting a workout. Usually i am a fan of Denise, but the poses in this video were very hard to do. I was left feeling frustrated and confused. Definitely NOT a good cardio workout.

This tape really worked for me.

I got this tape as a gift and was really shocked how well it worked. I've been doing yoga through various tapes for about a year and a half now and really liked that this one included more aerobics to not only tone but burn fat as well. I was amazed at how quickly I could see the results. My friends could always tell when I had done the video because they could see the difference. I've never had such results from a workout video before.

    Whew!

This video seems to last forever! For some reason, it is slow going. It is difficult if you are first starting out--there is no way I can do some of those yoga poses. I do not like it enough to do it three times a week--that's for sure.

    Intensified Yoga

This tape is great for people who are more used to a traditional aerobic workout video. As a runner, I wanted a workout that would keep me in shape but be easier on my body. On my off days, I can do yoga using this tape at the upbeat pace that I am used to while incorporating some excellent spot toning exercises.

    I Really Like This Video

Denise Austin has taken traditional yoga postures and combined them with moderate aerobic and strenthening exercises. The tape has three sections: cardio, strength, and toning on the exercise ball. It gives you a great all around workout and is easy to follow. It might not be ''traditional'' yoga, but I highly recommend it.

    YOGA? Fat Chance!

This tape is not a yoga tape. It is an aerobics tape with a few yoga postures (and some not executed properly) incorporated. Yoga is certainly energizing, but the way in which it is presented here is for those who seek energy through aerobic movement. I have never seen the moves here associated with yoga. I have been practicing for over three years. I have attended many classes, different instructors and do yoga with tapes.
