Should have been, Could have been much better.

Van Damme comprises the role of Jacque Kristoff, a secret agent who is assigned to protect Galina (Laura Elena Harring - John Q. and Mulholland Drive) as she travels on board a train through Eastern Europe. What she does not tell Kristoff, however, is that she has in her possession a very lethal bio-weapon that a band of terrorists are pursuing her for. As a suprise for his birthday, Kristoff's wife (Susan Gibney) and his two teenage children show up on the train with gifts and cake. However, the terrorists soon take over the train and its passengers and in the melee' they become exposed to the bioweapon. Kristoff is now embroiled in a race against time to save both his family and all the other passengers and rid them of the terrorists at the same time...while trying to figure out who leaked the information as to how they could be found. *This is the first Van Damme film I have seen where Van Damme looked, tired, old and disinterested. Even he seemed to give only a half effort as the movie seemed to bumble from one incident to the next. The special effects were something straight out of the 50's complete with model trains and fake backdrops. The only bright spot in the film was the good acting of Susan Gibney as his wife. She made the film halfway bearable, but no where near enjoyable. You could do much better...One of Van Damme's worst.
