Disco Pigs, featuring Cillian Murphy (Red Eye) and Elaine Cassidy (Fingersmith), is an unusual love story and a twisted coming-of-age tale. Based on the play of the same name by Enda Walsh, it revolves around Pig and Runt, two seventeen year olds who have grown up a little too close to each other. They speak in a language half their own (like twins) and half based on the way those in Cork, Ireland talk. Once one's ear has adjusted to this, the movie becomes a dark, enthralling fairy tale that starts intense and dangerous and ends fatally.
