This movie, entitled "The Kid", is not made for kids. It's not dirty or inappropriate (in fact, it's cleaner than most cartoons out there). This is like a modern-day It's A Wonderful Life. Go into it with that, and just soak it all up. A movie like this only comes around about once a decade, so get out of it what you can and learn from it. I highly recommend anything else by this director as well.

Although this is a kids movie, it's wonderful for adults as well. It really makes you think, and is full of important life messages.

this was so much fun! what a great story! the idea that you could encounter your younger self and have to account for your life was interesting. a great, great movie!

If each of us had the opportunity to fully sort out the impact of a single incident on our lives and futures, what a different place this world could be! The chance to no longer have the hidden and insidious effects doing their damage on our current lives because these went uninspected and unconfronted. Russ Duritz was really lucky to sort out his current situation in life by confronting the incident where his dad basically accuses him at age 8 of hastening his mother's death and telling him not to cry. What devastation that wreaked on his life! And he never saw it. To relive that at age 40 and remove the harmful effects of that incident and to be able to move on and be the person he'd always wanted to be -- now that is priceless (and a bit like what Dianetics can help someone to accomplish)!

It is a wonderfull history of how many things that we have present come from our past, and sometimes we even don't know exactly where they come from. There are things that we have to fix that could be esier if we remember our past. I just love it and I fell again those all dreams lost in the time. For last, the music is wonderfull and I don't know why there is not the CD

Well, this movie was boring. I usually don't like critisizing movies but this was just a boring movie. Bruce Willis could have done a much better job with his character. Emily Mortimer was good and of course pretty and cute. Some of this movie just didn't make sense.
