That's not to say that it's packed: It contains trailers for four of star Rudy Ray Moore's films -- Dolemite (1975), The Human Tornado, Shaolin Dolemite (1999), and The Legend of Dolemite (1994) -- as well as original poster art for the film and DVD production credits. Also, the menus and chapter selections are well laid out, featuring stills from the film. It's always amazing to see a crystal-clear presentation of a film that for years has been relegated to worn-out VHS tapes on dusty video store shelves. Those who have previous experience with this movie will be amazed at the difference; there is some integral damage to the original film stock about which the disc's producers couldn't do anything, but the vast majority of the print is pristine. There is no attempt at a digital or surround soundtrack, but quite frankly anything more elaborate than the mono track that's present would detract from the authenticity. Fans of Rudy Ray Moore or blaxploitation films in general will definitely see this disc as an invaluable addition to their collection.
