    Correction

This is only about April in Paris, because I read the reviewer's brief description of it and it was completely wrong. I thought people deserved to have an accurate idea of the story. Ray Bolger is charming as a bumbling bureaucrat who just happens to have two beautiful women who want to marry him: the chorus girl he accidentally invited to Paris to represent American Theater and the ambitious daughter of his boss. He is not married: the marriage that turns out not to be valid is his secret elopement with Doris Day, leading to a funny effort on the part of their friend to prevent them from having a wedding night--a situation that one would never find in today's movies. April in Paris is cute and perfect for any lover of old romantic comedies.
