Overview

A planet stands at the brink of war in this collection of three episodes from the popular Japanese animated adventure series Dragonball Z. In "Time's Up!!, the three hour truce draws to a close with no sign of Goku, and Nappa resumes his attack, but intelligence reports tip off Vegeta that Goku will soon arrive, and will fight at an unprecedented level of power, forcing Nappa to conclude the battle before he arrives. Nappa beats Krillin and is poised to do the same with Gohan in "The Return of Goku." Piccolo steps in to rescue Gohan but loses control of the seven Dragonballs in the process. Piccolo is killed, and Gohan is determined to avenge his friend when Goku arrives to save the day. "Goku Strikes Back" finds Goku leaping into the fray with remarkable power, and Vegeta orders a retreat. But Nappa violates this command and tears into Gohan and Krillin, with Goku retaliating with new and unusual fighting techniques. Nappa is destroyed, and now Goku must face Vegeta.
