The best movie of the series. Some great action and a pretty good story. Better than the last one but could use some better music. Also Vegeta is in this one and he kicks some a$$. Hell Yeah!

This feature was worth watching just to see the look on the faces of Goku and Vegeta when the Meta-Cooler appeared. Over all it was a good movie but it need more music...

Dragon Ball Z movie #6 is great....Cooler was there again to take vengeance once more and destroy New Namek....but look out Cooler! Goku & the rest of the Z gang are there for the final bout with Frieza's brother!!!!

Ok, the reviews below are way off course. Yes, the music was horrible, and yes it lacked some other things but here's why... It's the English (American) Version! Watch in Japanese with the Subtitles and you'll hear a lot of music and the dialouge makes so much more sense! For all you new anime fans out there, Anime is to be watched in the Japanese Version format, English bad... Japanese, good. Repeat that again.

new planet namek is in trouble, just like the 1st planet, goku and his friends are set out from earth to take a trip to the planet to help and make it all better again, once goku and the gang get there they find out why, could it be, a metal like being in the form of.... COOLER! it is cooler, a special star has remade him, after a long battle, and goku on the losing side a new fighter arrives, its goku rival..Vegeta, both saiyans give it there all, after going super saiyan there winning, at the end there in space on the star ship, after goku gives the last blow before everything blows up, intant trasmission himself with vegeta back to the space pod they arrived in, and back to earth, and the very end of cooler....

After watching Lord Slug, Revenge of Cooler and the two TV specials, I'd come to expect new DragonBall Z movies to have cool hard-core rock/metal bands playing in the fight sequences, they really added to the intensity of the movie. In The Return of Cooler, there isn't a single song. The music in it is okay... but the new theme music sounded a lot like the theme from Degrassi Junior High. The animation seemed better than most of the other movies so far, and better than the TV series, but the plot really let it down. Also, on the cover it says the movie runs for 60 minutes, which isn't true as it only runs for 45 minutes. I was expecting something good to finally happen, then the credits cam up. Although it has it's bad points, The Return of Cooler is still worth buying if you're a big DragonBall Z fan.
