I was searching through the older action movies in a rental place and came across this title. After having seen some pretty kick@$$ titles with Tony Jaa in them, such as the Protector (aka Tom-Yum-Goong) and Ong Bak 1 & 2, I got pretty turned onto the Muay Thai martial arts titles, and this one seemed pretty interesting..especially since I noticed that one of the creators of The Protector and Ong Bak, Panna Rittikrai, had a hand in this one, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I actually rather liked it. Some of it was a little slow going, and though I'd have to say that I was not as impressed with this one as I was with the Tony Jaa titles, I still thought this was a pretty cool movie. Action is pretty slow throughout the middle of the movie, but there is a decent, intertwining story that unfolds during that time, but for martial arts action buffs like myself, there are a few pretty awesome fight sequences, especially in the beginning and at the end. If you are a martial arts fan, I would definitely recommend giving this a watch. I will likely even buy this title at some point down the road. Check it out! Below are a few other good Thai martial arts titles, including the Protector and Ong Bak. I also added one called Ninja Assassin that I actually tried to do a review on, but there was a glitch in the system and my review could not be posted. If you don't mind some gore and love your martial arts/ninja type stuff, I definitely recommend that one too!
