In the first story, vampire couple Stan and Stellie kidnaps a little girl for sustenance, only to find the tables turned when their captive proves that appearances can be deceptive. The nightmare continues in the second tale, a spooky yarn about a reclusive writer named Dean who installs a mysterious new word processor on his computer. Ignoring both his wife and the zombie plague in order to focus on his work, Dean quickly discovers that electricity is no longer necessary, because his computer can now be powered by the life force of others. Lastly, fierce survivalist Heather saves a mother and her son from a vicious zombie attack. Taking them back to her home to recover, Heather is horrified to learn that it's not zombies the pair fear, but a horde of renegade priests determined to destroy the boy or die trying.
