EnchantedDirector: Kevin Lima, Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden
Classic Disney animation meets contemporary urban chaos when a frightened princess is banished from her magical animated homeland to modern-day New York City in a romantic comedy penned by Bill Kelly (Blast from the Past), directed by Kevin Lima (Tarzan), and featuring music by composer Alan Menken and lyricist Stephen Schwartz. Princess Giselle (Amy Adams) lives in the blissful cartoon world of Andalasia, where magical beings frolic freely and musical interludes punctuate every interaction. Though Princess Giselle is currently engaged to be married to the handsome Prince Edward (James Marsden), her fate takes a turn for the worse when the villainous Queen Narissa (Susan Sarandon) banishes her to the unforgiving metropolis of New York City. As the cruelty of the big city soon begins to wear down the fairy-tale exterior of the once-carefree princess, the frightened Giselle soon finds herself falling for a friendly but flawed divorce lawyer (Patrick Dempsey) whose kind compassion helps her to survive in this strange and dangerous new world.

This was a great movie that definitely leaves the viewer wanting a sequel. The story was very innocent and original and a nice change from some of the other films out in the market today. This is definitely a must have for kids and adults alike.
it was really funny, cute and a lot of romance... I watched with my fiance, when he saw the first few scene he was mad at me cause it was "cartoons" but within a few minutes he enjoyed as much as I did. great movie for a saturday night
I love this movie! I have watched it so many times and the thing is it never gets old. Amy Adams is perfect and a good singer in this movie. All the characters are played so well and they are all so funny. Buy this movie because it will change your life forever in a really relly good way!
Great movie for adults and a great remake and culmination of disney favorites
Enchanted is a great movie to watch! It shows laughter, romance and interest.
I am a 20 year old woman and I just loved Enchanted. Everyone from the animated chipmunk to Patrick Dempsey. This was a movie for all ages. A real life fairy tale indeed! Buy it, you'll love it.
One of the best movies I saw in 2007. The kids can't wait for this to come out. Although I'm not sure who liked it more, them or me (Dad).
Watched Enchanted with the Grandkids on Easter Sunday. Cried at the end, the film was soooo sweet and funny. It took me back to my childhood when I grew up on Cinderella and Snow White and all the other great Disney movies. Own It!
I absolutely fell in love with this movie!!! I loved the animated and real-life parts in this movie, I loved the romance, adventure, fantasy....it wasw a multi-genre movie that everyone can love! I'm sixteen and went to see it when it came out, with a few of my friends and we all loved it, even the guys! It's just an awesome movie that I can't wait to buy so I can watch it over and over again!!!!!!
This is the best movie I have seen. It is full of happiness and makes you forget about all your worries. One would think it is a movie for kids (I am 31) but any age would be enchanted by seeing this movie. Enjoy!
This is one of my favorite Disney movies. I love the songs. Amy Adams is really believeable as a cartoon princess that gets dropped into the real world. Patrick Dempsey is a modern day prince charming. My kids like this movie too. There are portions of this movie, such as the insects and animals cleaning that are hilarious. We have even watched the portion of the DVD showing how the scenes were filmed which is quite interesting. Overall a very entertaining movie.
Enchanted was probably the best movie that I have seen in a long time. All of my friends and family fell in love with this movie "and I'm 22!" I cannot wait for it to come out so I can watch it all the time!
This had enough to interest children and adults. It has a bit of Cinderella and a bit of Snow White with some very surprising twists. I enjoyed it very much.
Amy Adams gives a stunning peformance In ENCHANTED.In Enchanted The animated world and our world Collide!Princess Gisselle finds herself in the Middle of Times Square after she is pushed down a well before her wedding. Can she find her One true Love And a way back Home?? Buy and enjoy This Disney Classic.
"Enchanted" was exactly what I expected - a new twist to the ole' Walt Disney fairytale of dreams come true. The ONLY thing I didn't appreciate was the bathroom scene. Robert bursts into the bathroom to confront Giselle. She is just getting out of the shower and two birds are holding up a conveniently-placed towel so that the viewer doesn't see her body, just her arms/legs. Younger viewers probably won't have a problem with this, but some older ones (pre-puberty to puberty age) may be momentarily uncomfortable with the idea of a man bursting into a room w/a half-naked girl in it. Seriously Disney, was this really necessary?????? It definitely deserves the PG rating.
